Proper Weight Rating

The container so selected for transportation of the flexitank should necessarily have a gross weight rating of at least 30480 kilograms which would ensure a perfect match.

Checking the Age

The age of the container so selected for the flexitank should not be more than ten years old. If the container is new, then that’s perfect. Otherwise, it would be idea to select a container that lies between two to six years of age for best results.

Inspecting for Corrugation

Both the side walls of the container chosen for flexitank should be necessarily corrugated for the entire side wall’s length. Any of the containers whose decal panels are flat should be immediately rejected.

No Deformation

There should not be any deformation to any of the side walls of container selected for transporting the flexitank.

Locking

The locking system of the door of the container for flexitank should be chosen. Each of the door should be having a minimum of two locking bars and each of the locking bars should be retained by a minimum of three locking bar bracelets. All of the locking bar cams should necessarily lock into both the top as well as the bottom locking bar cam retainers in an appropriate manner.

Handles

The handles of the of the chosen container should position freely into the door handle retainers and the catches of the door handles should close fully.

Structural Parts

All of the structural parts of the door, upper & lower ‘C’ sections, and vertical sections should be free from any kinds of dents as well as buckling. All the hinges present in the container should be working appropriately and moving freely.

Check the Floor

The floor of the container should be free from any kinds of protruding screws, nails, splinters, and other fixings so as to make sure that the flexitank is not damaged while in the container.
